It is often more efficient to combine the two systems (EMS and OHSMS) into one, sharing the common clauses and procedures. We have considered this when creating documentation packages to simplify the implementation for an organization.
Rather than have parallel (duplicate) Manuals and other documentation we note where the user can just incorporate the OH&S and EMS requirements to the EHS Manual, procedures and instructions.
